E-Istanbul, a renovation project located in Istanbul, was undertaken with the aim of transforming an apartment into a comfortable living space that reflects the unique tastes and preferences of the new owners. The challenge was to create a harmonious environment that meets their current needs while incorporating existing furniture and artwork.
Our design team engaged in a detailed process to identify key elements that would harmonize with the space. A primary focus was to hide irregular columns and beams with new walls and suspended ceilings, allowing for more defined spaces and reducing visual clutter.
With the added building elements, we were also able to create innovative lighting solutions by installing concealed lights in the newly constructed walls and ceilings. This design element not only adds ambiance, but also creates a sense of drama through ambient lighting. Furthermore, these additions have allowed for built-in furniture pieces that integrate seamlessly with the existing space, providing ample storage and functionality.
Through careful consideration and attention to detail, an apartment has been created that reflects the style and preferences of the new owners. E-Istanbul emerges as a project where contrasting elements are balanced while maintaining a harmonious aesthetic resulting in a beautiful and functional living space.
